Zoom Zoom Vroom is a trick-taking card game for three to five players by Takashi Sakaue. The deck has six racers, and every racer is one number: Lichen the Sasquatch is the 1, Cap'n Salty the 2, Chippy the Beaver the 3, Jelly the Raccoon and Beans the Possum are both 4s, Slippy the Salmon is the 5. On your turn you play a card face up — its suit must not already be face up in the trick — and may add gas tokens, one point each, plus your current speed from the racetrack; or you play any card face down as a Tune Up, which cannot win but shares the gas lying in the middle of the table. The 1 turns every face-up 4 and 5 into a 0; the 2 takes a gas from the middle. The highest total wins the trick and climbs the racetrack for speed. The winner of the sixth trick completes a lap; the first player with two laps wins the race.
